About Course

Wind power is an intermittent energy source, and such a characteristic conditions its use, while its “quality” is very high, being a form of mechanical energy, directly usable in many applications, first of all the production of electricity. It cannot be dispatched on demand, but, over longer periods, it is possible to make very reliable estimates and predict even locally its availability. An additional merit of wind power relies in its modularity, thanks to which it can be used both for large plants and for very small and local productions. Moreover, it is not an invasive technology and today it has very competitive costs. Finally, it is also suitable for small communities and requires modest maintenance.
