About Course

The course aims at introducing the students to funding programmes awarded by the European Union and other international bodies in order to support economic and non economic activities.

The first part of the course will describe the political and historical context of the funding programmes and its function in the implementation of the public policies. In addition, the course will define the juridical context and the contractual and administrative instrument to award the funding.

Then, the lessons will make the students aware of the main techniques concerning the project design to draw-up the proposals to be submitted to the funding bodies. Some case studies of successful proposals will be provided. The last part of the course will refer to the activities needed to a sound management of a project.
